Default starview 7 router problem

sorry if this is already answered but i couldnt find answer
Right got a starview 7 with latest firmware work at my house give it to my dad work direct through modem but wont work through router i not very good when it comes to routers,
it is a Netgear Router RP614 i am guessing router blocking output so is there a fix for this thanks in advance

got same router and did nothing , just made sure the cable to the router from modem was in right port , the i can bang the cable to any of the other 4 ports and works fine .

if is definitely connected up right home pc running connected (wired) and laptop running (wireless).
when i connect it straight to modem no problems at all but when connect through router just says not connected

teeside25 go in to the kryptview thread and look for (kryptview box not seen by router) and read from post #10 by reiss and follow what he has posted and you will get your box and router set up the correct way.
