hi all got a couple of ambit 200's that was flashed a few years back and been stuck in a cupboard for past cpl of years when VM changed the configs but anyway my question is can the ambit 200's still be used and can you still ge macs for it as i was told that you have to get macs for your specific modem i.e for a ambit 250 you need macs for that particular 1

used to be any modem any mac. not sure if thats changed or not.

i wouldnt have thought it would be the mac's which would be modem specific but rather the modem fw upgrade in stream. since modded modems stop fw upgrades by vm i think it would still be any modem, any mac.

cheers for the reply now i just need to find a mac so i can sniff for some more as the macs on these modems are dead and i have VM 50meg broadband (paid) which unfortunately is through a netgear VMDG480 router/modem
