I would say that a lot of people are greatly relieved that the Queens visit went off without a hitch. She does seem to have lifted the spirits of the nation a bit, which is strange. There are some who still can't consign history to the history books and move on to the future.
I was surprised that some of my neighbours did not accept that the Queen should have been allowed to visit Croke Park.
The only down side that I noticed was that so many were disappointed Prince Philip didn't provide some notable gaffs. There certainly was opportunity.

Yep charlie, i think Liz probebly told Phil "now keep your ffing mouth shut" before they left england.
