I decided to open a new thread rather than hijacking somebody elses my kryptview 780 is stuck on set up page,I updated firmware on box then reset it to factory setting then did automatic search, i pressed ok to my network provider then pressed green button then it just says finish network search complete exit, when I press exit it just goes back to automatic search page can anybody please help

might be a software prob,,, maybe re-do the formware and start again? could have been a glitch in the download so id say re-download the firmware too.

Hi Isobel,

I rang my Satellite Guy today, and was told the boxes came back on a month ago, go in to the Installation Menu, and press SW Update, and all your channels will come back on, mine have. Good Luck!

I did the update when i try to do it again it says update already done so I dont know where to go from here

factory reset your box. rescan with your proper network id and all should be good..

I agre it should be good but it isnt it does not come up with the option of showing network id it just says finish network searching, I wish it would show the network id

maybe i need to as you say start again with the null cable, I have no idea now where to download the latest firmware. do you?

please try this

1 use null cable to reflash box then

2 hook backup on your line and update box

3 rescan

jobs a gooden

Also if you get no channels try ss1 then if you still have nout turn box off then on wait for about 30seconds and screen should show if not i would reboot the lot but if the box updates fron line i don't see why you will have no channels just a last thought mate and goodluck!

also this may come in handy A780 Official un-patched Firmware

First off, you are either scanning on wrong provider, or your cable feed has been cut off.

have I done anything wrong as this darn thing does not find any network ids
