Starview 7 showing not connected

Hi All MY MATE WENT ON HOLIDAY FOR 2 MONTHS JUST GOT BACK TRIED TO REFLASH HIS BOX AND IT SAYS NOT CONNECTED! V2.12 LDR 01.13

I HAVE DONE MANY NOW I HAVE TWO SAME HOUSE BOUGHT BACK TO MINE AND STILL DOES NOT WORK ANY IDEAS???I KNOW ITS THE LATEST SOFTWARE AS MINE WORKS AND WHEN I PLUG THE ONE THAT DOES NOT WORK IN NO DIFFERENCE?!

I HAVE EVEN FLASHED THE BOX TO THE PREV FIRMWARE THEN THIS ONE STILL TO NO AVAIL....

I LEFT IT IN FOR OVER 1 HOUR SHOWING NOT CONNECTED PLUGG MINE IN WORKS STRAIGHT AWAY?

AM CONFUSED PLEASE HELP AS HE IS DOING MY HEAD IN?! I HAVE DONE EVERYTHING BUT IT JUST DOES NOT SEEM TO WORK?

have you rebooted your modem and router when you plug in the non working box

this seems to be a common problem with the new firmware check with your supplier as a mate of mine took his back and all of a sudden it worked

Dazza i have done plenty of boxes these two are doing my nut in done all the usual studd and i am technically minded to a certain extent....

i got mine form wizzard sattelite rang them they said if its diff f/w then they wont touch it.... robbing gits....

no more bussiness to them...
