Question, inserting keys

Hello.

Ive a PC setup with Hadu, using C-line, and working good.

Is it possible to put keys in a file for other satellites, or do I need a card to be also inserted.

This also goes for Dreambox 500, if its possible to use just software, ie the CCAM, can just keys be inserted via a file to encode other staellite chaneels, lets say 23e, or again, do I need the specific card to be inserted?
