if it aint you downloading then someone else in on your connection make sure its secured in other words needs a passkey to use it as for kv it uses a very small amount of your bandwidth which would be barely noticable over a month and the hardware updates aint that big a file so no being over defo isnt down to your KV

If you had the KV connected and powered 24/7 for a whole month it would consume somewhere in the region of 250Meg (1/4 of a Gig). Thats about 1/160th of your 40Gig limit !

I'd agree with the previous poster and suggest something else is occuring on your network !

Some one is latching on to your broad band, if yer using a router and not pass worded it then that's the reason, yer be surprised just how many people don't set a password up when instaling a router, if some body got a decent wirless card in their pc/laptop then it will detect an available network and in your case yer havnt pass worded it, which means any body can use your connection?
Bottom line is password it. Not being funny on this one but if yer unsecured (not set a pass key) then people can use yer feed, if yer not fluent on setting a pass key, then get a mate to secure it for you, I ain't got bb A' use a dongle but when A' run out a credit, I can easily get on other peoples bb near me due to them not pass wording it?
It's mainly the old bags near me who a feed off?

its router dependant,, check your router manual to help you set the pass key.
