hi, my ambit went down over the weekend and am having trouble getting it back online. usually its just the mac that needs changing, however i have tried thousands with no joy. when i do find a working mac it will only stay online for 30 mins max then modem reboots and the mac is dead.
losing patience now trying macs any ideas why this is happening? any light on this matter will ber greatly appreciated. thanks |

welcome to the club
the way i do it is apply mac (and say you are online) now unplug modem and wait for 10 seconds the power back on that way you will know its a goodish mac but as it;s me i unplug about 5 times tops.. also try the macs that don't sit they may work again! goodluck |

if i unplug the modem it will kick out the mac! and if i leave it running it will only last around half hr b4 the modem reboots. if it is just the mac then i will plod along until i find one that sticks but im hearing that vm r sending new software that kicks them out :s
