Has anyone ever come across this issue?
"Local Area Connection does not have a valid IP Configuration" any advice would be awesome, been reading alot of stuff and I just get more confused, thank you,

when i tried to resolve connection issue from network sharing, I got
"Local Area Connection does not have a valid IP Configuration" from a different forum got the message below I did not understand from a forum user... "You have been denied an IP, public, from the DHCP Server sitting off of the CMTS. There are ways, as I have said, but they are not posted publicly. read some more and appy" I have been reading till dizzy, sorry to be a such a noobie

i have same problem i can connect via Xp but when i connect win 7 moden not workin at all no IP
it's 250 modem i think they won't work with new windows so what did was bought a network switch and connect win 7 and it worked a treat now i will find wireless router and see if that works or will make 255/or 256 modem |
