Hi, im about to buy a xbox 360 flashed with LT+ 1.1, but hes sent me this message, is this true?
I'm afraid at the moment you cannot go online with LT+ 1.1. The latest update will reflash the drive to original and move you dvd key so you cannot access it. Wait a few weeks and then reflash with LT+2.0. It would be worth researching a bit first. |

It's almost true but not entirely. The new dash does re-flash your console with a new original firmware version but it doesn't remove or hide the key it simply changes it's location. The latest version of Jungleflasher tool is able to retrieve the key from all new firmware versions flashed to all drives, but it's better to be safe than sorry and keep a copy of your key somewhere for future reference.
As for LT+ 2.0 it's not due yet, instead LT+ 1.9 is due to be released shortly, it offers a everything else as well complying with the latest dash except for playing XGD3 backups yet, XGD3 original discs should work as normal. There is no ETA for 1.9 or 2.0 but 1.9 is being tested for Samsung drives as we speak and for Liteon drives it's in progress. So expect this to be out in the next few short weeks. Hope this answers your questions. |
