tuning in

ive set up the dish and motorised etc but cant get a pic how much does it cost to get 1 of these tuned in from an installer

best to shop around about 15 years ago i set up a 2.3 m motorized dish in my back garden picked up about 50 dg east to 50 dg west no problems just hadn't got the time to fine tune the dish but was picking up all the satellites asked an installer how much to fine tune the dish and was told about £ 700 needles to say i told him to forget it

what size dish what motor what receiver was the ark already set or or was it just put together and stuck up
if nothing has been set up on it first it will cost a lot more because the installer will properly have to take the lot down and start all over again

its a 1m dish motorised disq i followed instructions and got tips off southern sat i got signal to 79% at 1 point but only 2% quality
i doing sumthing wrong but what so want some prices as to how much
ive done hard bit lol

if you have the time, and its not hail stoning outside i'd have a fiddle, you'll be buzzing once you get it right

i have been at it for 4 hours no joy

took me 4 days to perfect mine... and even after that i took the whole thing down again and put it up somewhere else

Probably from about £60 to a £100 approx plus parts if needed, depends how well it has been installed. Have a word with Rick, he is not far from you.

very true- it can actually end up costing more & take longer sortng one out than just installing from scratch- hopefully that won't be the case here..
