Default wifi

hi just wondered if anyone knows if there is such things as a wifi booster? also does some wifi cards/dongles reach further then others or are they mostly the same? cheers for any help.

if you had a spare router that supports dd-wrt you could turn it into a wifi repeater/extender, check the dd-wrt router database for compatible routers

Wot i did was baught 2 cheap routers and put dd-wrt on them then bridged them there a tut on YouTube step by step guide m8 and can have wireless extended upstairs with 4 lan ports best way to do it m8 ive got my xbox plugged up my pc and my ps3 in lan ports on router upstairs
im using 2-netgears dir-615
