It's been reported on another forum that after loading and doing the full reset/scan/1819 etc, that you need to remove power for 5-10 minutes and then boot up. I have not tried this myself.

BTW, it's on the Bigmaq toolbar

Nah, there's no electrical reason why you should ever need to power off for such a long period of time. 5-10 seconds maybe to ensure a proper reset but no box should ever need minutes. Its not as though it can actually do anything whilst powered off !

Unless SV have opened there network up, then a new firmware is unlikely to solve the problem of unregistered boxes. The problem is with SV's way of doing things - not with the firmware !

Hi All,

As I stated a while back, updated numerous boxes with SMGO2.12 and back online fine.

I have 4 SV7 boxes that were not updated with SMGO2.12 and now showning not connected

I will try new firware on these boxes and report back

Also should you update all the other boxes with new firmware

Taz
