There is actually evidence that being close to any microwave emmiting device can cause health problems over time, whether that be mobile phones, routers or any other device.

Generally routers emit less power than a mobile phone but they also tend to operate in transmit mode far more often so if your in fairly close proximity to the transmitter then you can end up with a higher cumulative microwave dose.

Some people do seem far more susceptible to problems with microwave radiation than others......

After saying that though, the likelyhood is that there is unlikely to be any significant impact from a low level microwave source after just a few weeks.

Depends on wavelength. The Russians used to blast the American embassy in Moscow with microwaves during the Cold War in the belief that it caused headaches and other problems.

It always amuses me when we get any new mobile phone mast in the area, the local paper gets a group of kids to pose for a photo next to the mast complaining that mobile phone radiation may cause cancer - they have no problems standing the kids in direct sunlight which is proven to cause skin cancer
