I must be having a bad week

This is after the one below this

Just got a new box out that i have had since before chrismas (could not sell it) pluged it set it up then thursday new firmware box all works ok all day saturday then i unpluged the boxe to put it in a differant room and it will not show a picture from the scart on any tv or from the tv coax cable?

Next or before

After a power cut on wednesday night

My box is now showing a message:

Data version is not match
set top box will load new database
please update new software and reboot

box goes into the menu and when i try to scan for channels it does not find any.

i'm sure someone who knows about starviews will be along to help shortly

in the meantime, have a look at some of the threads at the top of the starview section

have you updated with the smgo221 firmware doode and have you got ethernet connected ?

yea they both update.

1st box will update with no picture from the scart but has sound.
2nd box has the Data version is not match but aslo updates and will scan for channels but doesn't find any.

Wish i could smash the 2 together to get one that works

Found my jtag cable for my eurovox anyway of loading bootloader?

If no-one knows how to help me fix the box.

Does anyone know a company who does repairs?

have you ruled out scart issues by using a different scart lead and also use vcr scart socket for the first one

the second one are you scanning the correct rate for your area

yea correct symbol rate 6.887

Yea tried two different scart leads and also the tv/vcr coax out.
i am getting sound but no picture cant understand it work for the first day.
the other the power cut has wiped somthing.

might be wrong try pressing av/tv on remote

When i press the tv/av button my screen will ficker like when you unplug a scart cable then plug it back in.

I know the scart is ok because when i plug it into my friends box on my tv it all works fine.
