cant say im impressed with whoever made the new firmware, this is outrageous behaviour by starpoo or whoever supplies the software!!!
i know nothing is guaranteed but come on , people are paying good money for a box that they should not need to pay a sub too, cable cs is crap as it is so why make em pay,,, people might as well move over to an openbox hd and pay a sly cs sub, its better quality and the content is much better.

i think starpoo will find many ppl wont bother with them any more after the latest revelations....

and you know whats the bitch in all this?? we the fools can do nothing at all about it! yes we can moan on here but nothing makes a difference!!!

i feel for the ops mate,,, being treated like this is kak really bad play starpoo firmware builders... in fact come along and tell us why you are rubbing salt into starpoo users wounds,, stand up for yourselves for once!!!

regards

Unfortunately, it was almost inevitable that this farce was going to happen with the various ex-Starview factions all trying to pull things in different directions.

It seems like the lot that are now in control of the servers (its probably unfair to call them Starview any more) have only two priorities -

1/ Dump the huge stock of boxes they have in storage

2/ Make as much profit as they can from the server whilst they are forced to keep it active to deal with priority 1.

Its fairly obvious from whats gone on previously that this present lot have few, if any, details regarding previous Starview sales so have little real idea about when boxes were purchased. This means they cant determine any accurate switch-off dates so have apparently just opted for 'random' dates whch will likely change anyway.

For anybody that bought a box prior to the troubles, consider anything you now get to be a bonus. For those that have recently bought boxes then i'm afraid you've effectively been conned (although you have to bear some fault for being stupid enough to buy such a box without doing some basic research into the situation).
