I have been using my starview for years and then a while back it stopped working due to nagra 3

i waited patiently - does it now work again ?

will my startview 1 ever work again

yes they do. But the methods no longer work the same way as they did when you had that Star-poo 1

I suggest you read 2 threads:

1) Star poo / Star-view thread

2) Kryptview Thread

Start with this Post: Box stop working

It is only then make your mind up in regards to which box to grab.

I would advice a KV box in all honesty.

Star-poo only valid for its either I think 6 months or 12 months .... Got no idea. Either way they will be charging there customers a subscription or you buy a new Star-poo.

But that is only Opinion.

Decision is Purely Yours!!!

I read the thread about the starviews stop working after 1 year

but is this really true ?

has anyone on here now got a dead Starview 7 ?

Yes it is true and they do stop working after a year. After the server was raided I think and now that there is a new owner of the server I believe. Your subs should expire around July or Nov time depending on when you bought the box. A lot of the older boxes fail to connect due to MAC addresses still not registered on there system.
