Default Shall I buy cable or Sat?

Hi

I have read posts etc.... question is, recently I heard Starview went down but Kryptview was still running? Is the SV box back up and running now?

I want a box but which is the more stable ... what do you recommend?

I have raed that there is a satellite setup aswell but more expensive, I dont mind spending for the right setup but how does the satellite system work?

And anyone can recommend where to buy the SV or KV box from please?

thanks to you all

If you wanted something cheap i would have said give one of the Cable boxes a go.

But as you said you don't mind investing in the right set-up buy a Blade 7000,
nice simple and reliable box to use.

you could also try the sat side with a dm500s which are available on this site from lincsat. they are very affordable, but if you want to use a c/s you would benifit from doing a bit of research first

Personally i would go for good sat cs with a dreambox. I little bit of reading and research will be needed. Where as KV is virtually plug and play.

Really? Where? Unbelieveably cheap if true. A DM 500 without CS is near as damn it 60 quid, so if someone is selling a line for 19 quid for 6 months they are giving it a way.

*bump*

Im also looking for a new box, only got cable atm, had a dbox2 before! Haven't bothered looking for another box until now, is it worth getting a dish set up for satellite or getting a cable box? if so which one! Thanks in advance!

Had a look and I wouldn't touch that with stolen money. ;-)

They don't say anthing about what you get in the "package" I very much doubt it's Sky on 28e.
Probably 19e. or it could be a number of others.

If they are selling Sky packages from a shop then they wont be there long.
