which cable modem / decoder

I have an anlogue Virgin box - never really used it

i found out lately that we get 40 odd channels from virgin with the phone package

do i have to use a virgin box supplied by them for 40 quid ?

or can i use another type eg V+ that i have seen on ebay that has a 160 gb hard drive

any advise welcome

All boxes are owned by Vermin media so Buying a box from E bay is not a good idea as each card is married to the box. And not too mention its Illegal to sell there equipment.

Secondly Analogue signals no longer exists its all digital now.

You use the box which has been supplied to you.
