Doubt that would work but im sure there are people in the know that can make software to do that, whether or not they do thats another thing.

Boxes can be cloned fairly easily BUT i'm sure there server will detect and remove any MAC that is connected multiple times. That does, however, make the system enormously vulnerable to DOS attacks.

The individual clients (including the MAC donors) would likely be immediately banned.

Ultimately though, such messing could take down the servers.

Which is what i would say would happen both legit and clone boxes would be banned, regardless of what sort of a dispute you would have with them, even paypal could not help here as you would be paying as a gift, and as such you are technically giving the money away, just like you would be as if you where giving to charity.

And lets say Sv get 10,000 requests for there offer and the server goes down, with people trying to leech or whatever, they will only be looking for a excuse to close it again, with more money in their pocket, and free to start it up again under another alias, be aware of that.

"Generally" depending on what admin front end there using the first Mac addy would stay connected and any thereafter would be disconnected.

It's therefore likely that if you did have duplicate MAC when/if the genuine user disconnects for whatever reason you would get onboard and they would then be locked out.

All depends on how specific security is......

Thumbs up Re: cloning the starview mac

Duplication and removal is done with the Cline using a certain software and that works perfectly fine. These private servers on the sat side use the same software. Not sure if I can mention the name.

However as mentioned above using the correct tools would do the same with the MAC address.. If it exists
