Default reason why my KV isn,t working

ok so as some know i have been having trouble for the last 3 weeks due to missing tps well today i happened upon an engineer and an auditor working at the boxes at the end of a street not to far away from me so i decided to ask why my feed was down on the pretence that my sons FTA cable reciever had gone off and heres what i was told

"virgin are rolling out a nationwide shut off ,but only to unsubscribed households the reason for this is that virgin are running out of room " something he did not elaborate on but then went on to say this "the street boxes will be audited every 3 months by an outside company" again he didn,t say who

so heres the signs your box has been audited firstly it will change colour from green to white then it will be sprayed with a number and 1 letter ours is currently S08090

ONCE AUDITED YOU CAN DO NOTHING BUS SUBSCRIBE SO ANYONE WHO HASN,T NEEDS TOO

you have been warned this is happening as we speak

It might be the case that ' running out of room ' is an area thing. Some CABS may be moderately oversubscribed. In the early days of before Vir&in when it was Comcast NTHell etc they used to piggy back the nodes and bump up the voltage to compensate.

This rumour is circulated at least a dozen times a year, this time your qualifying observations about audit means it may well be true.

well at the same time jc ppl are told to at least pay minimum subs to stop being cut off, apparant u dont?

no jim i don,t i am honest enough to admit that but i do pay sky 65 quid a month for there package and that includes my BB and phone used to pay vermin but they fooked me around once to often

anyways you have the heads up now just incase people start coming on shouting about KV going down again you can point them in this direction

only thing is stevie there now looking 49quid for install shouldve done it at the start would not have cost me a penny

I cant imagine them sending teams round to audit cabinets every 3-6 months - just too costly even if they are some cheap 3rd party lot. What they generally do is simply disconnect 'unsubscribed' connections when they need to connect a new subscriber. Even thats a hassle for most installers as they have to get permission to disconnect another feed

thats what i got told today coder straight from the horses mouth my friend i know what your saying about cost and so on i think its more to do with ones that get it on then don,t pay thus getting channels for free plus ending up with a freeview selection after there subs are cancelled so rather than calling at doors and asking for the box back just kill it at the cab risk free

there lazy virmin are they couldn't be assed cut me off so they removed the splitter from my box out side lol
