Hi all.
need some advice on setting up a split cable. need to split main coax cable feed so that it connects to broadband modem and dbox2. all current advice just says get a splitter adapter. Understand i need an adapter but surely I need some cableing running out the other end of adapter? do i simply need 2 standard coax cable leads that will plug into adapter and modem/dbox?? also, should this method keep a strong enough signal strength to operate broadband and dbox?? thanks in advance for any info |

You need a splitter to attach to the cable feed, then a short cable to run to the modem (assuming that's where the feed is) then a longer cable to feed to the d-box. This will reduce the signal but usually there is enough signal to cope with the split.
Before you ask where to get a splitter and cable from - read THIS thread
