Default Rooting Samsung Galaxy Apollo (i5801)

I just bought this phone today and I was wondering if somebody could link me to a tutorial for how to root it?

Any help is appreciated, thanks.

Thanks for the reply G77 but it's all done now. I'm playing psx4droid as we speak . I do have one other question though. How do I apply new themes/wallpapers? I've been doing some reading about Live Wallpapers or something.

find your .apk either online or via the market.

if you get it online using the pc, just bluetooth it to the phone and run.

if no bluetooth, just use the cable and the phone in mass storage mode

you might have to uncheck "allow only official google aps to be installed" somewhere in the settings

I used a program called "SuperOneClick" to root it. It seemed to go OK, I got a confirmation dialog at the end saying "Your phone is now rooted!" or something along those lines. So those Live Wallpapers come in .apk format?

All sorted mate, I had to run some terminal commands on the phone to enable the "Live Wallpapers" menu. Thanks for your help.
