k.v channel probs

got a couple of peeps with channels missing of the list if u know someone with other k.v u can get the channels bk in the list by doing a back to back and send the channels over from the good box But they dont come bk on. this bit for the coder u can see the channels in the list after the bk to bk but all the channels u put bk on dont work there signel. but no quality i got a couple up and running doing a manul search but if u do a factory default u lose them all agian

Different areas have different transducers on different frequencies. For this to work you would need to copy from somebody with a box in the same NetId region.

Generally though, if a channel is not found its because you are missing a whole transponder (often 8 or so channels). That usually means you have a problem at a particular frequency. Either the transponder transmitting that frequency is 'weak' or something on the cable is causing degradation of that particular frequency. Unfortunately, unless the problem also occurs on your subbed box theres really not too much you can do about it apart from maybe trying connecting the box directly to the feed (no splitters or anything - to maximise the signal level).

Edit: oh, are you sure you have the correct NetId to start with ?

Wrong NetId will likely mean the box looks for channels on the wrong frequencies.

No signal means exactly that you are not getting any signal from your cable to your box.

am getting signal but no quality only on the channels that i put bk on the box but everthing else works on the same net id plus i got all the channels working on about 30 boxs so the box is not picking all the tp up so its the box nothing to do with signal

refurbed the cabinets and disconnected all non paying customers, thats whats happening reason why my KV isn,t working why dont u ask ur 30 or so customers if this has happened?

so whats it mean when your getting no quality as thats the prob you can get pic with 10 quality but with 0 u cnt and the box says NO or no signal why would the box say no

im just telling u what ive read and been told, if u have a working kv remove the cable from the back of it that comes in from the street and u get message "no or bad signal" that means refurb has taken place and if u dont pay subs u have been disconnected simples.

If no quality you have no signal simple as that pay a min sub and you wont have problems, as they are starting to cut people off now.

if that was the case they get no channels read corder post that more like the prob green gray what ever all u need to do is give any vm man £10 and your bk on thats if u need to most peeps i know have keys for the green box which is a set of three all there doing now is putting a padlock on as well
