Exclamation My tv is faulty help switching between analouge and digital by itself.

THE TV SWITCHES ON BUT KEEPS FLICKING BETWEEN ANALOGUE AND DIGITAL MODE COULD I BYPASS THIS BY CONNECTING A SKY BOX OR EXTERNAL FREEVIEW BOX VIA SCART OF VGA CABLE THANKS AND ALL INPUT WILL BE APPRECIATED.THANKS IN ADVANCE.

Hi,
First I would check the batteries in the remote control. (silly as it may sound)
External box may work SCART, Composite, DVI or HDMI depending on what you have (maybe you could lend one to try)
Model number of tv would help

Thanks its a hitachi 32LD30U was wondering if i connect a sky bo via scart would it bypass that as i would be using the signal from the sky box and nothing the tv was offering.im stumped/

Its possible it would work ok but i would check the remote first.
After checking/changing batteries see if the digital/analogue button on remote is not sticking and working correctly.
You can test by viewing the infra-red output from the front of the remote through a camcorder or phone camera. it will light up when you press a button and should stay off when nothing is pressed.

Cant say for definite, just try the remote stuff above first.
How often is it happening?
Good luck with it. (fingers crossed it will just be batts)
