I would suggest that you do some reading on CISS (Continious Ink systems)

Alot of Epson printers are compatible with this system and you can buy the CISS kit + Printer from this guys:

http://www.inkexpress.co.uk/catalogu...EPSSX425W.html

To give you an idea this system you only replace the ink that you have used. And also as far as am aware off is that the ink will not dry up for @ least 3 yrs. (when its not in use) However as you know that INK normally dries up when you haven't used it for certain amount of months.

In the long run you will save a hell of a lot money.

Just to add when you buy a printer make sure that you don't get the one which you feed from the top as they prone to breakdown very quick. I would Highly advise that you get one with a Tray feed and or otherwise known as Flat feed.

I had a budget and the one that I bought recently is the Office Jet 4500 All in One printer which is does Scanning, printing, faxing and Photo copying. Plus its wireless and is capable of acting as a print server.

Brother Multifunction printers are excellent. I had a DCP-115C that was found in a skip (no, not by me) for 3 yrs. All it needed was ink. Ebay is the place for stupidly cheap ink.

Now I run a Brother DCP-J125. £70 for printer/scanner/copier @ ebuyer.com . Search ebay for 'DCP-J125' to see how cheap compatible ink cartridges are. <£1 each if you buy a few sets.
