South Korean TV channels

Hi, I live in East-Anglia and would like to be able to receive South Korean channels through my tv such as MBC, KBS and SBS. I know the only way to do this is to buy a satellite dish however I know nothing about satellites. Just wondered if anyone could please advise me on what I would need to buy to be able to recieve these channels?

I doubt if you will be able to pick up Korean sats directly as there's no line of sight to them. You'd really need to be at the Eastern edge of the Mediteranean to even have a possibility.

I would guess your best bet might be to see if anyone is streaming the channels on the internet.

Only other possibility is if the channels are re-transmitted to target areas other than Korea via some other sat but i'm unaware of that occuring.

Realistically, only CGN and Arirang TV are possible. One is on Hotbird and the other on 19E.

For those you'd need a 80cm dish, a monoblock LNB and a FTA satellite receiver.

KBS is on badr6 and needs at least a 1.8m dish, possibly more.

The only channel that that I can find or know of named MBC are the MBC channels from one of the Arabic countries on badr4 and Nilesat.
