Default step by step advice NEEDED ; on connecting two tv's to virgin media box

can, does anyone have the patience to help me. ? I have a tv extension kit with coaxial cable, splitters etc etc. Two tv's. One virgin media cable set top box and one router.
Presently everything is fine and working with one tv and a router supplying two pc's. wirelessly and with an etehrnet.

One cable (1)from wall , is connected to a device that looks like a sturdy heavy metal splitter .
Another cable(2) is connected to this splitter device. It, then goes into my set top box.

The other cable (3)goes four metres on the floor , through a wall into a room and eventually ends up into the router which is in another room.

This is the strange bit...Cable (3) first seems to arrive wired into a box. This box then has a cable attached which goes to the router.

Which cable do I split ?

You cannot split any of the cables. If you do so, you will need to have another STB to decode the signal.

You need a cable connected to RF out of your receiver and the second TV. You will only be able to watch the same channel on either/both TVs. This is only possible based on the assumption that your Receiver has an RF out. If it doesn't you will need another device.

If you have not got an rf out you can use a modulator, then run a coaxial feed to the other tv and tune into the cable box.
