tbh, that really depends on what your signal problem is. Some things are easy to sort and some things simply cant be sorted without 'access' to the VM distribution cabinet.
If your signal level it too high then you can use a very simple and cheap attenuator to drop the level. Signal level too low and its a different story. You may be able to use an amplifier but all too often that will amplify the line noise as well so although you get a higher signal level you also get a lower quality signal. Generally, low signal levels can only be properly sorted by boosting the signal level at source (ie in the distribution cabinet). You may also have a signal quality (or level) problem caused by poor cabling/connectors or too many local splitters. In those cases you would fix the cabling/connector problems and possibly use an amplifier before all your splitters - remember, each splitter tap effectively halves your signal strength down that tap ! |

ok thanks my box at the moment is perfect . but some times if i do a rescan i may loose a few channels or the channels that would b ok b4 hand become abit glitchy bu as of now my channels r perfect.

they must be doing something with them as u say j_123 a bit glitchy for the last couple of days now its there end not your just wait and see what its like in the next few days wish they get all the channels bk and we know what where getting

During rescan, maximise your signal by connecting the box directly to the cable feed at the main socket with a short piece of cable (2ft or so). Disconnect any other devices (splitters/modems/other boxes etc). You dont need an internet connection during the scan phase.
