acer aspire 8930 flashing ethernet port

i have an acer aspire 8930 which has a flashing ethernet port, i have checked mother board and it is recieving power but the dam thing wont start it just bsits there flashing away.

anyone got any ideas?

Has it been working?
Have you tried downloading the latest drivers, for your laptop, from the Acer website?

yeah it's been working fine and all drivers are pretty recent, it just fails to even get to login. checked inside and theres no evidence of any blows on mother board!!!!

Try removing it from device manager, re-boot and let Windows install the drivers.

ALL ethernet ports should have a green light on soon as your rj45 is plugged in and the orange light should flicker when transmitting data...can u get into the bios?
