it was pretty large scale as well by the looks of it.

wouldn't want to be in starview and kryptviews shoes now reading that

i would imagine they sold even more boxes than that

SV and KV boxes come in a FTA format. They're not capable of being used illegally until someone alters something on them. That's a big difference to a box which is comes out of the factory with the capability to receive encrypted channels.

I can't believe people were so blase about it.

if it was illegal to make an unauthorised connection to the network then even FTA boxes would be, illegal.

they were providing boxes either pre-flashed or as fta ... depending on the customers demand .. if you asked for a flsahed ready to go box they would do it otherwise a fta box would be sent out. They never came "pre-loaded" from the factory in china everything was done at their warehouse.

couldnt agree more, until 2 years ago i never even had a pc/lappy simply used net for ps3. at that point i had the pre-flashed/modded boxes at an incredilbe profit margin, plus extras for updates etc. which from reading these ppl took money for rescans on flashed stb's and put expiry dates on MOSC's to gain funds from other ppls hardwork and determination. no wonder nothings public anymore!!!!!!!!!
