Talking rar to iso?

hi everyone, I'm a newb and have a question, i've downloaded a file that should be an iso but It is a rar file, i would like to know how i can get back to iso and burn it then use the dvd it is on, your help would be greatly appreciated.

I assume this is a software that you originally downloaded? Yet you found out that its been zipped / compressed with as ''rar''

You can use ''magic ISO'', to convert it into an ISO and then burn it as an ISO using your favorite burning program.

As unadkat states the file has been compressed, first you need to uncompress it using a program like winrar, or 7-zip, you can find these free on the internet.

Just to add you can just run the set up file after you have unzipped. And it will install program etc.

There would be no need to burning it to as an ISO.

Also Note that Winrar opens up ISO files as well.
