Default Amy

Amy winehouse is dead... very very sad. Used to hate her behavior and so on, but at 27 years old... tragic

27 seems awfully young - a waste in any circumstances.

I don't mean any offence to any one here or to Amy Winehouse, but it's a sad state of affairs when we are wishing our peace upon one celebrity when we have about 76 dead in Norway that were on the whole much younger and didn't really do any thing to cause their own deaths

It's wishing peace on anyone who suffers. That are thousands around the world dying every day, often needlessly, from disease, hunger, and thirst. It's only when we see tragedy before our eyes that we can express our condolences, to whomever it is we see.

I suppose you're right. In other countries devoid of the Internet, satellite or any other communication hundreds of people die each day because of the blasts, but we only seem to know what it is like when we are shown images of what is actually happening

So well written in so few words Brian. I couldn't have put it better myself.

To Amy Winehouse and to those that were murdered in Norway we can only offer our condolence to those left behind but to those suffering in drought ridden Somalia you can offer a bit more.
