Default samsung U900 help wanted please

hi all,been given a samsung U900 keypad lights up when the charger is plugged in but no display so can't tell if its switching on or not,any ideas please chaps.

just an update on this phone,everyday at 12-10 it vibrates vigorously i assume this is a daily alarm going off,but there is still nothing in the display screen or the little screen thing,any ideas phone guy says he can fix it for £20 but if its a screen or something simple I'll have a go myself,i can get a screen for £6 or £8. but need to know if this is the problem first.

sounds like it maybe your screen, you will need to put in a new screen or if you really want to check you can get them tv out cable which you can plug into where you plug the charger and the ither end into the tv and you can check if the picture comes in the tv then its your phone screen that is faulty.
