The only problem of course is that you could click on something without going through one of these services, and it would slow down your browsing speed. What I tend to do is to enable noscript, enable WOT and enable McAfee Site advisor (when it wants to work with the latest FF) when using my browser

That way, you can stop all scripts from running (no exploitation of your computer), you can check the credibility of the site (through the on screen WOT icon), and you can see if the site is dangerous or not through McAfee Site advisor

With quite a few sites, you can get away with blocking all the scripts that run on it.

They are the sites that have the registry of all known malware sites (known to them, that is)

Not on this one though since the update (I have to enable scripts to THANK someone (The script doesnt work w/o them the way it was setup..))

However I just check the script and get the token ID and add it to the end of the URL,that way i dont have to bother enabling scripts

noscript is truly awesome i have used it for years now, it's almost a must anymore, and i even run many sites with ads it doesnt bother me if people can block them, it's their right, if they want to see then they will unblock. I even unblock on alot of trusted sites when using noscript

that's the best you have total control

I don't use noscript any more, considering it's not available in chrome. Instead, I now use notscript which does the exact same job
