Trying to send a file to my dreambox wirelessly using filezilla.

Could anyone tell me how to set up the Dreambox regarding Interface and DCHP settings please? I know I need to give it an IP but don't know how.

(I have already set it up with a vonets wifi bridge to connect to the router)

menu > Setup > expert Setup > communications > enable DHCP > restart the box.

IP address should now have been allocated by the router.

Now open File zilla

Enter your Host (192.168.0.4) etc. What ever the IP address is listed on your dream-box on the communication setup

Username: root

Password: dreambox ( unless you changed it)

port: 21

just check dhcp in the network/lan settings in your dm.

then unplug the box, then plug it in.

the go back to the lan settings on the dm and see what ip it says. put this ip into filezilla
