Default A780 freezing

Hi guys,
Just rebooted my KV and router in hope of picking up some channels. Box powered up fine and picked up a few channels (still loads missing) and when I went to one of the many scrambled channels the box stopped responding to the remote.
It powered off ok from the box, and when it powered on, I just got 4 dashes on the display and the flashing cursor.
Powered off & on a few times, it did return to normal, but then froze again.
Up to date firmware, cables are fine.
Any ideas?
Cheers

Don't think it's anything to do with the server, the box should not stop responding to the remote.
Jonpc - box is fully ventilated, nothing on top (not dusty either!)

Seems to be ok now though, thanks for the replies guys.
