i seem to have a love hate relationship with my remote. every now and then it stops working (no its not the batteries). i know its working as ive checked with a camera. there is a littlle green light on the box for 'lock' and its on. does that mean ive locked my remote? can anyone advise how to unlock?. ive tried a reset and reflash to no avail. is there a universal remote that would work with the box? i have a phillips but they dont seem to support eurovox. any help incl. jokes appeciated.

bro why dont you flash ur ev2 with the max firmware(blue box), ul get 8 favorites and much better epg, slight hitch is ul have to buy a max remote control coz ur ev2 remote wont work again! u can hold of remote control from ebay for about 20 quid!
Upgrade your ev2 to evmax for a price remote control, its tried and tested and trust me it works 100% unless ur box is faulty!

thanks for the tip i think i'll do that. at the mo ive managed to get it working by swapping the front panel of the reciever with another.
