I used exactly the same, last night I down loaded Captain America and Zoo Keeper, I was getting 1mb/sec, but towards the end it dropped to half of that, but was still ok for free. I have a 10 meg virgin connection.

try your speeds after midnight if they return to normal then virgin are choking you at other times even though they will say thier not if it is still as bad then you have a connection problem

and try this http://just4today.net/ its a free news server you just have to log in every day for a name and password if the speeds are the same on there at the same time as the virgin servers then you know your been choked

Hi, I use grabbit on newshosting through VM 10mb connection. All ok in pure N*L area 00017

If u DL over 3GB during the day VM choke speeds to 300
Overnight is defo the best, no restrictions

you might not even get that soon... - http://torrentfreak.com/newzbin-uses...appens-110327/

for increased speed look for a news client that supports port 80...

Can you post your superdud connections page?
My downsream power levels are low and an engineer comming out.
This can cause streaming buffering and download problems.
