Hi there,

I have recently bought a used rear projection tv, the SP42w5xeu. The previous owner accessed the service menu and had a play with all the settings and the screen is not displaying correctly any more. I have managed to set the convergence, changed to 'video adjusment' menu to the default settings, also the 'Deflection Normal' menu to the default values. The 'Option Byte' menu has been returned to the normal values also. I want to know if it would be possible for you to send me the default values for the Pict.Improve menu, also the derivatives - VGA SECAM RGB DVD and YC menus. Lastly the previous owned changed all the values in the 'P.STD Change' and these are the settings for the 'Picture Settings in the normal menu.

I would like to make sure I get the best picture, looking at the service menu settings there are a few values that are not listed in the service menu such as 'FB Gain'. I was wondering if it would be possible for you to send me all the default settings for the service menu so that I can get it back up and running asap.

There is a number on the bottom of the service menu:

0054 0864 128C 837C420
Followed by
SIM- 826HEWS 2002/08/26.

Any help would be very much appreciated.
