Default Help with new box required

Hi folks i used top be the owner of the *view 4 box which is no4 obsolite.
My question is what do i go for nowadays, i have a bt phone line and a virgin supply also coming into the house.
What would be suitable, easy enough, cheap enough and reliable enough to buy these days, to do the same as the above box used to do.

Many thanks in advance

Its fibre optic so your bound to get the full connection which is advertised by them. as an example 10Meg would be 10Meg if that makes any sense.

you can use the internet and the box @ the same time.

You need the cable connection so if you get VM the standard 10mb is good, you will be able to use the internet no problem, you will get tv channels through the cable, probably just need a splitter for the box.

The 10mb is what i was looking at getting, is there anything else to pay if i go for the Kv a780, how easy is this to set up, how often does the software need updating and again how easy is it to update if it needs doing.

Many many thanks to all of you that have already helped.

try sharing with your neighbor if you can trust them just ask for them to get a extra box and just split the cost of package .
