You need a MAX232 and ethernet in order to flash Haxorware to your modem. You could always lift and re-program the TSOP48 but I wouldn't recommend it lol. This excellent tutorial should help you on your way rutters (please note that this isn't my work and all credits should be given to the original author
).It's also worth noting that if your modem has the updated 3.1.6D Alex bootloader, you will need to run the Console Unlocker in order to be able to downgrade the bootloader and write Haxorware firmware. easy way is pm me u r email i will give u my contact ian will explain what u need and how to use it it takes 10 mins to flash the modem if u have right tools and files i can send you the whole pakage with step by step tut

The Ambit 256s are slightly different in terms of the chip they use. Unlike the 250/255s which use TSOPS, the Ambit 256s use SPI chips which require the use of an SPI programmer. Once you have this, you can use the SPI flash tool to read/write to the chip.
