Default Data lost on DVD-RW

HI,

I have just got back off holiday and my disc has some how lost all the data.

I only had approx 30 mins on the disc but its 30 mins i want back!! I have looked at google and people are quoting crazy prices to get it back.

I have a Canon DVD Camcorder CD201.
The charge died when we were watching some filming back so i put it back on charge and when i turned it on teh data was gone and the settings on the camera has gone. (time date etc)

Can anyone help??

Thanks so much really appreciated!!

There are software's available which can recover from a CD/DVD. I used to use one long time back, yet I cant remember the name. If you do a Google search you will find it am sure.

Never tried it, not even sure it works with CDs or DVDs. But it's free for today only.

Hiya,

Thanks so much for all your help i really appreciate it.

Well i have downloaded many and not getting much of a response.
The link you gave me scanned the disk for 15 minutes but found nothing.

I know there is data on the disc as it has the dark rings on the back.

Not sure where to go from here.

Many thanks

Is it video that you have on the disk?

Or is it documents?

You could send it to a recovery company like ontrack.
