Hi all

My 780 box was working fine til VM cut my cable connection in March. Im now paying for broadband, Ive updated using waqasahmeds guide, factory default, searched using the correct network ID but can only get FTA channels - others come up as "scrambled or no video". Any ideas what im doing wrong, or do i just need to accept the box no longer works. Thanks in advance for any help.

Did you use the correct firmware A780 not A750, have you re-connected your Ethernet etc.

I used Kryptview_A780_18052010. And I have reconnected the ethernet.

OK, that's your problem, you need firmware from 2011, either the January or preferably the April firmware.

you can do the update via the remote. You don't need to download the firmware nor do you need to go looking for one either.

Go through the settings and there is an option there where u can do all software upgrades via the remote.
