I suspect the service you get now is basically as good as it ever will be. The major problem with this service (and every other non local CS service) is that its at the mercy of the internet. Routes become slow or non-responsive on a second by second basis. Data packets get lost or delayed. Basically, the internet is unpredictable, especially for data that is not prioritised (most CS data is not)

CS protocols really demand real-time responses. If, for any reason whatsoever, the responses are slowed then you start to have a problem. The usual solution would be to make the server as close as possible to the clients but thats a very dangerous game. From KV/SV's point of view the servers need to be well outside European juristiction - that usually means Russia/Asia but unfortunately that also means traversing links with serious bandwidth limitations.........

There's also lots of other faults that can occur. Servers going down, card tiers not updating , internet links failing, ecm upload failures etc, etc so its inevitable that your going to get variations ranging from good days where everything works fine to bad days where nothing works at all.

well if it's as good as it gets im abandoning the kv, I wouldn't be bothered with it if this is the service we have to endure.

I'm not expecting the kv to be 100% like a sub paid box, just back to how they worked before they closed them down for 7 weeks, I was very happy with the kv and then it was never 100%, very watchable.

@Jimbo, Yeah feel like going the sat route at this rate.

Just comes down to overloaded servers!

The servers are still in the same place outside European jurisdiction, internet capability has not changed?

It would make sense to me that the more boxes you sell the more servers you need to provide a working service.... or you can just keep selling boxes on the same server which then deteriorates the service for existing users???
