Yes, 4.8E can be got on a 60cm, but only the stronger transponders, but you want 13E don't you?
It is not possible to get two satellites at the same time anyway, remember that transponders are re-used again and again around the arc, so don't be confused into thinking that you can receive a satellite when you can't. Hotbird 13e can be received sufficiently well with a sky minidish, so a 60cm is enough. But if it is an old analogue setup, the LNB needs changing for a UNIVERSAL LNB, otherwise(due to it only having one LO), you will only pick up aprox half the available transponders.

was checkin if 4.8 was on a 60cm as i think i picked that one up. but cant seem to get 13. the lnb is a new universal one and all works ok on 19e and 28 e when aligned. i have not played with my sat box for while and have deleted all sats and tp and will input some new hotbird tp, im using the signal quality on my stb as a guide to alignement worked great for the others 28/19/4.8 etc but could not pick up 13.
any ideas |

60 cm should work fine with most transponders on hotbird . what type off receiver are you using , have you been able to receive astra 19.2 east if so then you need to adjust the elevation eg vertical elevation is higher than it is when set for 19.2 east then move the dish slightly about 2 inches to the right . use a transponder for bbc world . hope this helps.
