Anyone remember the ms-dos command for copying a file (programme) I am wanting to copy a specific item which is only 13 MB in size. A: drive and C: drive.

You just use the "copy" command

eg if the file is on the a drive

type "a:" to change to the a drive,

then "copy filename c:"

Many thanks for answers unfortunately got cut off before whole message given. The programme is 13mb in size on an old MS-Dos 6.22 O/S but it was specially written and contains a lot of data I do not want to lose 2,550 customers plus newspaper accounts it is a small newsagents nothing hi-tech is required but would like to install same system on another PC at home so I can do accounts there. This a small shop I took over and the system came with it it works efficiently. Would be a great help for a solution.

Various options I can think of, including kermit, we used to use that for msdos if you find a copy. Or taking the hard disk out and piggy backing onto a Pc with the correct drive interfaces, or installing a zip drive on the parallel port. As floppies don't hold 13meg.
