Default Bloody 256!!

Just 'acquired' a modem and now realise it's a 256

Did a quick search on here and now understand I need to buy some new equipment.

Before I invest, can anyone advise as to the cost of the kit and also it's reliability..don't wanna splash out if it's not sure to work.

Alternatively..is their anyone in the Middlesbrough area that can look at it for me (or the two 255s I can't get in to)? You can keep one of them if you can help

cheers

A standard LPT SPI programmer is around £20 or so, probably less. You could also get a USB SPI, either build your own or buy one for about £35. Despite the extra cost, USB is a lot faster than LPT.
