Default Samsung N140 notebook voltage help

Hello!
I've phoned Samsung and they weren't very helpful, so I'm posting here in the hopes that someone will have an answer to my question!

I have a Samsung N140 notebook bought in England. However, I'm going to Japan soon, and while I know that different plugs are used in Japan, I believe the voltage over there is 100V. Provided I get an adaptor that allows me to use a Japanese plug socket, would it be possible for me to use the notebook over there? According to the writing on the power cable, it says "Input: 100-240V" - does this mean that it will function with 100V?

Apologies if there's an obvious answer to the question- I'm not very tech-savvy! Thanks

usually when you buy stuff from abroad and bring it into the UK you require a step down adapter. I cant see why it would not work there.

However I would recommend you seek a professional opinion in regards to this matter as am not sure either if it would work there.

if your power supply says 100-240 input then 110v input should be fine .

globalism is true , we live in a small world so products are made to be universal . although some companies do try to be regional .
