Hi,
My Starview 7 went down last night. Tried the usual process USB etc etc 1819, all to no avail. Expiry date was 15th November, but now there is no expiry date showing. Anyone got any ideas please? Just when the footie season is starting!!!! Thanks in advance |

The boxes are on today. Could you have re-flashed the wrong firmware?

Hi, Thanks for reply. I have just tried again using showmustgoon2.21ups, which I assume is still correct and still cannot receive anything other than FTA channels. My expiry date was sometime in November, but now I cannot find expiry date. Am I right in thinking it should appear above box number in system information, as the area there is blank? On channel manager all the missing channels show 'no signal'. It is now doing my head in, any more ideas please?
Thanks |

Maybe your box is one of them free ones, and now ya have to pay to view again, according to Sv support, if you got any free time out of the box wah hay your on the pigs back so be happy !

You should see the expiry date in the system information. With that and you getting no signal on all channels, it could be a faulty box. Have you tried a full reset, rescan and enter the 1819 again? Also check your Internet settings and check you have an IP address.

Hi,
Thanks for advice. There is no IP address showing. Does this mean I have a connection problem even though it comes up with all the channels when I do a scan, but then says 'no signal'. I am seriously confused. HELP!!! |

No IP address means you do not have a valid Ethernet connection to a router, this could be a problem with the Box, Ethernet dongle, Ethernet cable or Router, so check all your cables and connections.
What is your signal strength and quality, the Q needs to be over 60%.
